At Play Sense, we’re on a mission to support teachers to be the best that they can be. That’s why we’ve launched our ECD Masterclass Series – we want to make in-depth ongoing learning available to all ECD professionals. Each of the Masterclasses are designed to inspire you, boost your skills, and give you practical tools you can implement in your classroom.
Each masterclass is approximately 2hrs in length, costs R250 and you can earn 5 SACE points for attending. You will have 30 days to complete the class online and register your points once purchased.
If the last couple of years have taught us anything, it’s that teachers are both essential and undervalued. Play Sense will be releasing monthly ECD masterclass ranging in a variety of topics, all with meaningful insights and practical learnings for teachers to implement in their preschools.
Topics have been tested and researched with the ECD sector and range from dealing with practical toddler behaviour, to working with neuro-diverse populations in the classroom, to bringing playfulness back into the classroom – and much more! South African Council for Educators (SACE) is the professional council for educators, that aims to promote continuing professional development, and maintain the profession’s teaching and ethical standards. All educators working in South African schools in the GET or FET bands must be registered with SACE.
All Play Sense Masterclasses are registered and accredited with SACE so that educators may claim CPTD (continuous professional training & development) points.
Unless otherwise stated, each Masterclass costs R250. If the Masterclass is available for purchase, you can purchase the Masterclass by clicking on ‘BUY NOW’. This will take you to a form where we will request certain details from you and take you through a checkout process where you can pay with your credit or debit card via our secure payment gateway, Payfast. If you have a coupon code you will be prompted to use this code at checkout.
If a Masterclass is ‘COMING SOON’ you will not be able to purchase it but you will be able to ‘JOIN OUR WAITING LIST’ and we will be sure to notify you as soon as it is available.
